Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Crawlz ("the platform"), operated via crawlz.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Crawlz. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Use of the platform

When using Crawlz, you agree not to:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Post content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its systems.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the platform without permission.
Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers.

5. Events and content

Event organisers are solely responsible for the events they create, including accuracy of information, compliance with local laws and regulations, and the safety of attendees.
Crawlz is a platform that facilitates event organisation. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any events listed on the platform.
You retain ownership of content you post but grant Crawlz a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display and distribute that content as part of the platform's operation.

6. Tickets and payments

Payments for ticketed events are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a ticket, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Refund policies are set by individual event organisers. Crawlz may facilitate refunds but is not responsible for the organiser's refund policy.
Crawlz may charge service fees on ticket transactions, which will be clearly displayed before purchase.

7. Responsible drinking

Many events on Crawlz involve venues that serve alcohol. Crawlz encourages responsible consumption and compliance with all applicable liquor licensing laws. We are not responsible for the conduct of attendees or the service practices of venues.

8. Intellectual property

The Crawlz name, logo, and platform design are our property. You may not use our branding without prior written permission. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Crawlz and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crawlz and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the platform.
