I live in Brisbane now, but Toowoomba never really lets you go. When I head home, there's a short list of places I always make sure I get back to. Grab some lollies at Mackenzie Rowe like you're a kid again - and pick up a loaf to take back down the range. Pop in and say hi to Jim the Butcher. Head out to R.M. Williams for a browse - if you can time it for May, even better, that's when the sale hits. Then finish it off with something sweet from The Baker's Duck. It's not a big list. It doesn't need to be.
